On January 10, CONTEMPORALIS inaugurated its 2025 program with a special meeting with Luca Vitone, presenting a selection of works in dialogue with his exhibition Pitture Plastiche at Galerie Michel Rein. This presentation continues the dialogue with Pitture Plastiche, Luca Vitone’s major solo exhibition at Galerie Michel Rein in Paris, on view from January 11 to March 22, 2025. Through a selection of works specifically chosen by the artist, the public is invited to discover a new perspective on his work and research.

Luca Vitone’s artistic investigation explores how places are defined through cultural production: art, cartography, music, cuisine, political associations, and ethnic minorities. His work bridges the gap between the sense of loss of place characteristic of postmodernity and the dynamics through which feelings of belonging emerge, intertwining personal and collective memory. By reconstructing and reinventing forgotten routes, Vitone thus reconfigures his own personal geography.
